Good times in Minocqua. Looking forward to boating the beautiful water of Wisconsin's Northwoods once again.

That boat is incredible… I saw it once and would love to see it again. Great boats at that show. Some on land and some in water… and ice cream available right there too. I just mentioned that show to friends tonight… time to recruit more into the hobby!

And I’ll be damned if I can remember your real name so help me out here. Hope you and your Lady can come up and visit. Should be a great turnout with friends coming up from IL with some real pretty boats. Come hell or extremely highwater we are planning to be in Minocqua next weekend. The parking lot displays at the Boathouse in Minocqua was all about outboards.
This was one of the coolest for sure. 
Talked with the guy that bought this at the show. He intends to restore it so I steered him here. |

Hello Bill, One of the first things I did when I got up to Minocqua was to head over to The Boathouse. 
Really cool old bar overlooking the lake where the fresh draft Spotted Cow is special. Went to the gas station the next morning for some cases of the Cow and the shelves were bare. The guy said it goes as fast as they put it in there. 
Ended up with some Moon Man and it hit the spot too. And would you believe the hoist can was a prop? Ice cold Canada Dry Ginger Ale.

74 Glastron Doc, Met a young man there from Kirkland WA. 
Gunnar was in Minocqua working as a Minaquabat. 
He takes pictures too and got a good shot of the Best Fiberglass winner during the parade. Cal, Moon Man is a Pale Ale and not everybody’s cup of tea but is rated outstanding at beeradvocate. All the boats you see in Minocqua are drivers. I was hoping to see you up there with your beautiful Thompson. 
Folks up there love the little outboard boats like ours. Try to come up next year for sure. Dr. Go says he is bringing a boat. Even Doc Frankenmerc may show up. Thanks, Terry |

I will for sure bring a boat in 2022 to keep Terry company. If the good Doc flies into Central Wisconsin Airport, it is 20 minutes away. Then he can pull a second boat up the 80 miles north that he can show and use… not the oldest, but I think a 2.4 Merc 200 from 87 may suffice. Free lodging too for the good Doc since he has helped me plenty with my Merc addiction. Doc… think about checking off a bucket list item. This takes place on a chain of 5 lakes… we only have about 14,000 lakes in Wisconsin. Bill… for sure your boat would be loved by all, so it would be great if you could bring your wooden outboard to use and show.
