TOPIC: Texas Maid Electras

I'd like to start a post about Texas Maid Elecras, manufactured by the Texas Boat Manufacturing Co., Inc. in Lewisville, TX, from the late 50's until the mid 60's. I've seen a couple restored, some in rough shape (mine), and a few modernized. I'd like to start a forum for owners of Texas Maid Electras, if there is any interest.

I'm looking for an authentic Texas Maid Electra steering wheel. I'm not too particular about the year (62 would be nice, if anyone has any info or a pic). I wish I could post a pic, or give a description, but I don't know what one looks like. The Electra I have has a horrible wheel from Gilligan's Island.
