I'm just missing steering. I'm happy with my resto-mod, it's a brand new old boat. I think it needs a stripe, too.

She's looking great, Quick, good job on the "resto-mod"! I agree about the stripe, I think it would definitely add to the appearance, help "shorten" the profile. Very nice work, though.

Thanks guys! We took her out for her first run today. Absolutely no problems, ready to go again tonight! I think the kids had a great time.

I ordered the vinyl from Advantage Sign Supply. 15" x 10yds of the best stuff cost about $50. I took a picture of the old emblems and my cousin vectorized it and printed them with his vinyl cutter. I'm going to use the leftover to print a stripe too.
