TOPIC: Help with Boat Value and Identification Please

Found a really cool boat that is advertised as an aluminum 1967 Lone Star Del Ray. The guy that owns it seems very nice and appears to know his stuff. He has come down to $2500. Supposedly original paint and seats and motor which runs well. It's white with red stripes and seats. I can't find anything online showing this boat existed but obviously it did. He has original books with the buyers name and date and boat name etc. Can anyone help me with value, issues to consider and where to find more info? Thank you!
