Had this boat 12 months,just finnished the rebuild I think around 70's
20'Chev 250 L6 MC1 drive.Will try to att pix

The Hull Ident. No. should be on the outer upper right transom (looks like it's under the boarding ladder) - that'll give the Mfr ID Code (1st 3 letters) and mo/yr (last 3 numbers/letter).

Thanks for the reply Terry,the HIN No AU-WWA-0195515C06 how ever with the AU prefix this may have been put on in OZ.The engine no is
FO 3110SD,I am having a problem podting more pix because of the size

First, I apologize for my provincialism - I assume everyone and his boat lives in the US.

Oz may have very different regulations about these things.
However, I suspect you're correct about the prefix, and if that's a US-made boat, here's the best info I found:

WWA = WHITEWATER MANUFACTURING INC, 127 MAIN ST, MOUNTAIN HOME AR.

Would've been built in 2006.

Their boats may be marketed by/as Mountain Home Boat Company, not sure exactly what the connection is, as I know nothing about the brand.

Hey Terry,I will try to track down those names it was definately built before 06,it has a Mercriser 165 with a MC1 drive and a Chev 250 ci 6 cyl inline Motor which are all orginal that may have been the year the plate was issued in OZ,many thanks for your help

Two other thoughts, Mike.

From the pic, that appears to be a metal plate attached to the transom.
U.S. HINs are normally molded into the 'glass.
OZ regulations research should reveal whether the same HIN is used w/AU prefix, import (or whatever) date suffix.
Point is, if not, a look under the tag (if legal) might reveal the original HIN.

Also, I'm wondering if that could possibly be xxxx75C06.
1975 might be a better fit.

Thanks Terry,the HIN plate which look legit is pop riveted to the transom,and there is nothing in the glass under neath.We have an MSB office where I live and they thought it was an import.I tracked down the Whitewater Co thru the Chamber of Commerce in Mountain lake the Co only ran from 1995 to 2005 and are now closed,it was definatley built before 95

Have just found out the HIN AU-WWA-0195515C06 was issued in OZ to this boat in 2006,which is going to make it harder to find the make
