TOPIC: Glasspar PHAETON Auction,, Tx

. I am going down the 55 + boat list estate auction for Tx member.
This is a great group to see what was early collection pick
of Wish List.

. High on my Food Chain would be the 1960 glasspar PHAETON model .
Some will already know this half hardtop is a very practical / style
model going forward.. Also with the Nashville Build code & Low serial # is icing on the cake IMO.

These tops really do not slide , as a late model Aristo-Craft, but
rather have a canvass snap cover for full shade , or half sunshine
/ air vent , more steering visibility , etc..

Glasspar on the West or East coast has its own clubs, etc. Pic below is NOT the auction boat, but spotted at Various Fla shows.
At 17 1/2 ft works well with 60 hp period motor or up to 95 hp ..
Some modern ob / fitted with a Retro top cowl is also a very desirable future route for a new collector / member.
