Here we go! Its a 1965 Wayne 100...whats that?....A 1965 Glasspar Avalon powered by a 95 HP Corvair, designed and patented by Wayne Horning, designer of the 12 port Chevy and GMC head for drag racing. He built around 96 of these units for Glasspar and Tahiti hulls. I believe mine is an early version as the head and block numbers designate an 80 HP engine.
When I brought it home..trailer on a trailer

And the engine
This may take awhile to do but hopefully will be on the water next summer,,,and possibly towed to some car shows by either an 8 door Greenbrier or by my 140 Corsa.

Great project...cool boat and unique powerplant. Nice add to the Corvair collection. Good luck!

What drive does it use?

This is all I could find on the patents for the drive. Fairly simple. It uses the ring gear and spyder gears from a Corvair differential.
