We are 90% done on a 1956 meteor, waiting on 3-4 chrome pieces and appointment at interior, so we Stated grinding on this one,it is 50% ground to cloth now and has new transom,a couple knees in transom and a new floor. This would look good with a 6cyl merc but I am leaning for using one of the fat fifties, color is still up in the air, trying to pick out something I haven't used,It will get a boxed fender gator trailer, more pics later Bill

We can discuss on the forum. Maybe some kind of art deco scheme.

Wow - nice colors...nice boat, and what a nice engine find! This will be a beautiful package for someone to enjoy. Plan an extra hour or so at the dock for answering questions and letting people look it over before you set out on a voyage.

Your work is so appreciated...obviously not your first Rodeo! Hope to meet you in May at that Wisconsin gathering.

Kudos - Dr.Go!

Nice Bill. I like those wing windows too.

I notice many trailers are yellow with red rims and moon caps. Was that a "thing" back then? Seems like even differing brands had same color scheme. My 1965 trailer is yellow with original red rims, so I should clean it up and keep it that way. It has the 12" 4 bolt wheels with clips for hub caps. Where can I find these type of baby moons? I also have some original 8" wheels that I need moon caps for, but they don't have the clips...do I assume they press into the bulges of the inside lip??? I would like to find 2 of each by fall. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Dr.Go! (Mark)

Looks great, Bill. Thanks for the Hubcap Mike information!! "Just what the "Dr." ordered" ...Dr.Go! that is.

I really appreciate everyone helping me find the proper resources to put a more complete project together. (this will be my first project, so I likely would park it at the far end of any "show" parking lot because I will be over admiring the "other" boats and learning more).
