TOPIC: fixing compressor,my mac giver moment,lol

it will probably turn into a mac gruber moment,lol,i have to paint the sunray and for the 2nd time my air filter holder broke off and cant find another in time to paint the boat so i got a small piece of 1/2 inch pvc water line and a 1/2"x 3/4" adapter,with screw in 3/4 adapters,so far its working,but i had a macgruber moment when i didnt put screen behind the foam,it sucked it in ,but only to the 1/2"part,thank goodness,lol,it seems to be taking the heat ok for now,it should work,john

yes i do frank,with a porch to finish,(one more step and clean up,and painting the boat,i hope i have it at least painted by silver lake,and some of the interior,but it doesnt look like it,im going to try to get the paint tommorrow,i hope.when we get to silver ill just put a big sign on it,"a work in progress",lol.

Good ingenuity on the compressor fix John! They say necessity (and a short deadline!) is the mother of invention.

thanks mark,your right,i figure if ya cant buy it make it,when we get back from siver lake ill try to make the half hard top for it,its going to be tough but i love a challenge,lol.

so your making a hardtop? cant wait to see that.

i hope to make it ron,im good with wood and shaping wood,ill use it as a template and mold,heck i used to hand carve wood,below is a pic of a built in gun cabinet,it used to be a closet,i remodeled the whole room,mostly in red cedar.
as for the half hardtop,i plan on building it with luan and rounded 2x4s (temparary),then mat and cloth it with resin,plus a couple of tricks ,i will take pics even if i fail,lol.
