Try spraying a little W.D. 40 in the carburator if it fires you know you have a fuel problem. If it dosen't I would install new spark plugs. Back in the day when I usta race 2 stroke dirt bikes I found that under compression (installed in the engine) spark plugs don't fire or not as hot.

I am now thinking it is the solenoid box. The port engine has a block to which several wires from the switch are wired. The stbd engine does not have this block. I think I missed connecting a critical wire off the stbd switch. I spin the solenoid and get spark, but I wonder if there is another circuit to the motor that I have open that says, yes, START!

Was able to recover the port and stbd side cabin windows and the windshield gasket. I figure not having to buy new has saved about a grand. Can't even find anyone in the Capital District who will bend plexiglass. It's sad. I'm loving this. I need to buy a couple dozen small stainless bolts and cap nuts to bolt the screens in, then install the center trim piece. Cabin is now water tight. I can't believe these are back in. 22 months since I removed them.

Not going crazy, but prettying the hoods up. Need to remove some trim, clean, spray red and then carefully sand. Good lunch time work.

Lots of small stuff done that I haven't posted in a while. Tonight I installed the helm seat. Waiting for the hardware to come for the mate's seat and we're ready to go. Actually sat at the helm for the first time ever 23 months into this rebuild.
