Im looking for the front windshield for the cabin for my 62 Arkansas Traveler Vanguard '17. It seems to be a rare boat to find and ive been searching for awhile for a replacement. Does anybody know where i might find one? Please email me with any information you may have thanks Jerry

Great boat! You probably won't be able to find a new one. What usually has to be done is to remove your current windshield and take it to a large plastic sign supplier that vacume forms signs. They can use the original as a mold and make a new windshield to match. Usually runs around $350 and up from what I've heard others say.

If it's just cloudy and not broken you should be able to polish it up fairly easy. Here's a link one of our members posted on the process he used for polishing.

Some people are like slinkies... Not much good for anything, but they sure are fun to push down the stairs.

Very cool boat...

A good resource for replacement windshields is UPD plastics-

If you can't find anyone local, they can probably help you out.

This is a very old thread.. I hope to tap someone on the shoulder.. I've used this forum many years back as I was working on my Performer Seven Seas.. I have passed that boat on to a new person to finish the restore. I've had no intentions of another boat.. But a 1962 Arkansas Traveler Vanguard has just come out of hiding ( very close to me) due to the flooding here. Wow.. very cool. It was used for fishing even last year.. 2017. Yes it's all there and even has a top. It's part of an estate.. so no sure what the price is.. I'll start a new thread.. if it finds it's way home..
