Great forum!! You guys seem to find all kinds of interesting boats on craigslist-not many in Indiana.How do you search on national craigslist?Uh Oh...I'm getting "big fin" bug again!! Thanks for any info-keep posting cool pictures!

Here's a good tip for searching all of Craigslist for a specific item or boat.
In the Google searchbox, type the word or words you want to look for followed by a space, then type site:craigslist.org (no spaces). Google will respond with every ad that has ever been written from every Craigslist location that contains those words. It's helpful if you're looking for a specific hard to find item. |

I use "Search Tempest" for my craigslist searches (google the phrase "search tempest") simply the best way to search the list.. put in your area code, mile radius (how far you would like to travel) and you are off to the races so to speak!

I use Site Mash, go to jaxed.com and choose the Mash. Using keywords or boat manufacturers it will also look on Craigslist, Ebay and one other site as well.

It's a real shame that Craiglook was shut down- that was by far the best way to search Craigslist. Search tempest is a good site, but much harder than craiglook was to navigate.
Craigslist shut Craiglook down- Don't be surprised if SearchTempest goes, too... They seem bent on 'destroying' anything that accesses their database. -Andrew |

Try typing "all of craigslist" into google. I use the first one that comes up. Seems OK

I use crazedlist.org for my searches. Just don't try to search the entire country at one time. Works ok.

Andrew, you aren't kidding, craiglook was by far the best I've ever used. Saved searches that updated automatically, wow I miss it.
Jaxed works but only seems to search titles and misses a lot of searches. |
