TOPIC: Shopping 4 1965 IMP Apache 16'

She has a 1965 75 horse Evinrude Speedifour with a new powerhead.
The shift linkage had come apart inside of the motor and they thought that the lower unit had gone bad. That was in 2002, so they parked it outside with no cover. It was given to a nephew with the repair story and the titles. He had no plans for the boat at all. Well,,,I guess I do. For $125.00, you bet I do!!!!

Nah, just trying to do the right thing. I've been stranded out on the water twice before, (long time ago), once someone stopped to help and once they didn't. I swore I'd ALWAYS stop to lend a hand if needed. Besides, it makes you feel good inside, IMHO.

Quit trying to change the subject, how many have you got now? LOL

That wheel is molded plastic. It has a split down at the hub where it mounts. I'll have to live with it. It also has the IMP logo in the "horn button".
I have been ordering tuneup parts for the Evinrude. I am curious to see how 75 horses will push this 16 foot boat. She should scoot.
I picked up a brand new prop for it today for $5.00 at a second hand store. Never been installed. It is a 10 1/4 x 9.
