TOPIC: New boat, How the heck do I post a picture??

I haven't posted since it went to this new foremat and can't seem to figure out how to post a picture.

When I click on the "browse" box I get the address of the picture, then when I click "(img)" it just does this:



When I click preview, it's still just the (img/) shown.

I'll be shocked if the picture really shows up in my post.

I'd like to show off my "new" Falls Flyer, and post a picture of another boat I just got, which I think is a Regal, and resembles the James Bond Glastron.

What am I missing?

Ok, now how do you post more than one? Or can you?

Anyway, I'll give a shot at the other boat. Anyone know what it is? I bought it just to save it from the landfill and expected to pass it on, but I got it home and my wife likes it. Now I'm stuck with another project. (Darn!) I'm looking at a 115 hp Merc for it. Crazy?

Well, now that I got the picture posting half figured out, here are the other two I got last week.

Blue & white a Custom Craft .?? That green is nifty ! A REGAL ? Has the look nose of a Baja or 74 Larsen XL-5 (Catalina g-3.?)

. Multiple pics can be done two ways . Submit your 1st post , then go BACK to EDIT lower right corner & add your 2nd pic,/ etc.
Another method is store or upload your pics to a free online album webshots/ photobucket / etc. then select pic , pixel size maybe 425 , COPY ( in forum) , then toggle back to INSIDE your post body & PASTE. Then toggle back to web album select 2nd pic , Copy , toggle back to post -PASTE,/ etc , maybe also a 3rd pic.
. I know clear as mud ., But give it a try . You must be in a good area to get those 4 hulls .??

I would be interested in the custom craft, if it's for sale.

The blue and white one is a Glastron.. About a 60 model.

The Falls Flyer ('59, I think) came from South of Branson. The two together - blue/white is a '60 Glastron, other is a Redfish, '58 or '59. They came from a field north of Chillicothe. Green one came from an old marina at Lake of the Ozarks. It was a busy week. I live a bit north of Columbia.

Did some research and answered my own question. In re-reading the CG info, it looks like this was a Reed Marine, Ft. Walton Beach, FL. boat. RFG looks to have changed who it was assigned to in '81.

Wow, what a haul! The Falls Flyer is def. a classic, but man, that green thing looks like its moving while sitting still. And I always liked what Glastron did with styles in 1960. Cant quite see much of the redfish...
Glad you got the pix thing figured out, and shared your bounty with us! All awesome, and you've got some projects to keep you busy this winter!

I can see why your wife said "keep it" when she saw the green one. She's gonna look great in it this summer with the wind whipping in her hair! Great finds, looks like you're gonna be busy this summer.

Just Curious .. Was that Glastron before Carlson came onboard with them ... ?? It has hints of his style in it . Carlson designed some amazing boats in My opinion And Well Glastron did to ..L.O.L..

Almost, but the transom is unique... I've seen it before, keep thinking Switzer, but not quite.... yes, I suffer from old timers disease (CRS)

AustinSailor that's quite a fleet you've got started! Heck I wish I could just get two! I'm still working that.

Nope, not a Switzer. Top deck is flat. Switzers have rounded sides on the top deck.
