TOPIC: windshield

Hi, I am restoring a 59 dorsett catalina and I'm down to the windshield. This one is cracked in 5 places. Anyone know where I can get one or have one made? I live in Stockton Ca. on the delta. My email addy is ---sandcastle4us@hotmail.com

unless Taylor realized there is a market for these old things I do not think they make them anymore. You need to keep an eye on craigslist or ebay for them. There are a couple small companies making these but they are pricey. Heck even the used ones are pricey

If you get an older one there is a polish out there for them to clean them up.

I think I have 15 or 20 of the generic Taylor Made from the 60's

They measure 70" tip to tip and were used on the MFG 17'

They fit many other boats as well.

Shipping might be a little pricey though.

If the 'standard' Taylor doesn't fit (taylor doesn't make the plexiglass ones any more, either- You have to find a NOS one, like from cc1000), try these people-

They can make one for you. Not too bad on the pricing, either.

I can't find the 'correct' one for my Lake N Sea, might end up making my own, or ordering one from them...
