TOPIC: Our new project boat.. Pics added & indentified!

Our new project boat.. Pics added & indentified! 13 years 7 months ago #17115

Can anyone identify our new project boat? Year and/or model? We will attempt to send photo, but have not had much luck at this. If no photo, we will try again later.

Thanks.

Re:Our new project boat Mystery Boat Identified! 13 years 6 months ago #17644

Jerry (AKA Haynesfiberglass) emailed me today with these pics and info about the identity of his latest boat:

..... we now know that it is a 1958 Howie Craft, manufactured out of Sherwood, Oregon. We located an I.D. tag up underneath the dash.
Jerry....

So the mystery is solved. It's a great set of fins. Can't wait to see this one finished! Thanks for the update Jerry!

Some people are like slinkies... Not much good for anything, but they sure are fun to push down the stairs.

Thats got great lines. Looks more angular than most boats from 1958. Must have been pretty dramatic seen back in the day. I know its gonna look pretty dramatic again. Keep the pix coming!
