TOPIC: Finally on the water!!!

Took the alumacraft out this weekend for its first run. Everything went well. The 40 evinrude pushes it great, id say around 30. I was hesitant to leave the dock, i think i double checked everthing a hundred times lol, i kept telling dad ill just let it warm up a few more minutes lol. Im pretty happy with the way it turned out. Still a lot of little things to do to it, Ill be ready to go come spring time!!!

Cant decide to put the windshield on or not. Need suggestions.

Great looking boat! I say put the windshield on it. I think it looks much better with the windshield. Without it, it just looks like a boat with the windshield taken off.

I personally agree with Doug (classicfins). I like the more "finished" look with the windshield on. JMO Some people prefer to leave them off, it's whatever suits you. Swallowing a bug at 30 or 40 MPH gets old in a hurry.

I like a to take the windshild off in the summer when trolling bucause it gets hot behind it. But come cool weather it goes back on.
That is a nice looking boat.
