TOPIC: Playing Around on the Hudson - Missile and Power C

Frank and I towed the Power Cat and the Missile to the Hudson tonight. Glass calm. Frank's working on videos of both the boats underway. Here's three quick clips he shot of the Missile. Better video off the camera coming later. Had a blast. Pulling to Lake Placid Saturday for a day on the water.

Have to tell you I was tracking along side Frank with the Missile with Frank's son in the boat. Frank's Power Cat is perfectly tuned. He's turning 5400 rpm and riding on the last foot or so of hull. Looks beautiful under way. Iwant to work on getting my bow up a litle bit. Not sure I can do it with the flat bottom, but I'll mess with it.

Speaking of the DC, how's it coming Brian? Ever get the second motor running right?

Yes the 18DC motor problem is resolved thanks to chinewalker. I pick it up Oct 1. Plan is to get it in the morning and launch it and use it to ferry stuff from the island to the mainland and then bring it home. Joan and I are headed to Lake Placid with the Missile tomorrow. Probably mid October we'll head north again with the 18DC for a day in the fall colors.
