TOPIC: Glass Magic Boats

Hi,

Last year I was looking at purchasing some property. These Glass Majic boats were there. No, I did not buy the property. Are these boats considered desireable? First is a 1956-58 Glass Majic Playmaster. The other is a 1961 Glass Majic Runabout. I think I'll only post photos of the Playmaster.

Very nice boat to have if you ask me. I have a '58 Glass Magic Playmaster Sr, but the fins aren't as large. I'd grab it if ya could. I'd love to find one of those myself. Keep us posted!

Problem is...So many cool projects...

I'm in the middle of restoring this one....

It's a flat bottom cabin cruiser Cruiser Craft by General Aluminum of Dallas by Mr. Phill Dill....195?. It is the only one that I know of that is this particular hull design. Others are more rounded cabins. It also has a hull/transom extension...kind of like a jack plate on modern bass boats.

I've redone....or basically rebuilt the entire trailer already last year. I've fabricated a custom rotator system similar to an "Auto Twirler" so I can rotate the boat for keel repair. The boat has been stripped....waiting on funds....

I've still got a bunch or work to do.....

Does anyone know of the exact year? I do know that it is considered a 21 feet "Sunbeam Series".

Classicfins,Rick here. I have a 61 Glass Magic WildCat.
16 ft. It doesn't have those fins.Went to Texas to
pick up this 40 year in a barn find.Boat is posted in
the Still in Use.Will try to post here.You
don't see many here.I would love to have this one.GlassMagics
were built in Texas.
