rick,do you live anywhere near silver springs resort?i built a house there about 10 years ago when i had my construction company.
and had bought some trout from the trout hatchery for my ponds,it was in the laurel highlands.

as for harveys lake its about 10 miles north of wilkes-barre,pa(scranton area)
this is my 1st time there,but map quest says about 4 1/2 hours but we will stop to eat,plus i go slower when pulling a trailer with 12 inch wheels,lol.

Hey guys, whats the plan for the late dinner on Friday? Believe it or not, I have work til 8 on friday nite, but maybe I can join ya for a draft. Any idea where you're meeting? Plenty of restaurants nearby...

Ron, did you pre-register, or just gonna sign in Saturday am? Just wondering waht kind of turnout Bill Nash is expecting, I did see a blurb about it in one of the newspaper weekend guides.

Latest weather has it as dry, but high of 80, not the 85 they had erlier!

The lowered Dodge doesn't make for much of a tow vehicle. Plenty of power with the Kenne Bell supercharger, tho.
I'm not preregistered, either, can take care of that Sat. AM.

keep me advised for your friday night plans... [if you're feeling lucky, there is a casino + horse track, probably 2 miles from your hotel room.] But there are plenty of restaruants neraby for dinner, too.

I'm looking at heading up for the day Saturday as a spectator with my father...

Looking on the club's website, seems like the meet is listed from 1am until 5pm... so my question is, when do things really get going up there? We would like to get up there in the morning and then head on home early afternoon... thanks for the info in advance!

Yeah, the girls won some $ last night. Balanced out so that for the 4 of us we came away about $140 richer. I didn't (and don't) gamble, except with my health - I was in the Hard Rock Cafe having a hot fudge sundae...

yes we are bringing "way back when",we put new bearings and races in the 63 little dude trailer,im more comfortable putting it on my lowboy ,but we are going to try to do it without the lowboy,wish us luck,lol.

Well, I leave work at 8 tonight, then I'm going to START cleaning the boat. Not that its been in the water, but stored outside all the time with a cover, seems the upholstery is kinda mildewy. Hose off the deck, run the shop vac, and get the aluminum polish for the trim. I'll get to bed before midnight, then another 11 hour day at work. But I'll be there Saturday, hell or high water, or no water!

Weather looks dry, hope its an awesome turnout.

i just came in for a break,i started at 8am and got the seat base done now i have to bolt it down,then tie up the cables and wires,then put locks on the splashwell cover so it doesnt blow up on the way there,then clean the boat inside and out,then hook it up to the truck,then load everything up,check the tires,darn im tired,but im hoping to have it all done,i think ed is coming out to help me.

Geez, guess the fact I don't have to haul everything across the state means I've got a big advantage here. My directions:
