The Glasspar Looks like a boat again!

I've joined the hull and deck, finally. That was a LOT of riveting. I had to drill new holes for a lot of it- some of the old ones were enlarged, and didn't line up EXACTLY. But, it all went together pretty well. I did have to make a few adjustments here and there.

Hardware goes on next, I've had it all polished and ready for a while now.

Work has been S-L-O-W recently, actually it came to a dead stop for about 2 months, since I was working 70-80 hours a week. I decided that enough was enough, and I quit that job... Looks like I'll be going back to 'sea' in the near future anyway, so I needed some time off!

Now, I've just to to get the seats done, wiring, motor.... Hmmm, I though I was close ;)

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“

Almost all the trim is on now, except for the transom area, where I've still got to do some work on the structure underneath the rear seating area/splashwell. I also put the rubrail insert in, too-

The windshield needs to go on, and then I've got to build & upholster seats.

I'm happy with the paint job, too- Even more so now than after I first finished it. It has finished curing, and is super hard, with a great gloss. It looks like gel-coat, It's tough to tell that it's ever been painted, and I think that is what I was trying to accomplish!

Hopefully, I'll be able to get the motor running, and I'll actually be able to use it :)
