Last year I bought a bunch of items at an auction of a local marina. They were on the shores of Lake Michigan and did a lot of work on i/o's and inboards. I have been selling off parts, but have a few that I am stumped on. I was hoping that I could tap into the knowledge of the forum members to identify what I have, and then give me a starting price for eBay.

I am pretty sure that it is a shift plate related to an inboard and the transfer of power. The movable center gear allows it to adjust where the power is transferred to. I could use some help with identifying what it is, and then what the application would be for it. That should help to identify the drive maker and lead me to pricing. I tried looking up the part number on the box, but there is not enough info.

Let me know if this is the right spot or if it should go into stern drives.

Also - don't be shy if you want to buy it off of me!!

Thanks in advance!!

It is a synchronizer out of a manual transmission. I'd guess automotive application.

Thanks Jim!!! They had a fair amount of automotive parts at the marina, but they were working with some big boats so I thought it might apply. I will continue my search along automotive lines.
