The Century on my avatar has been in the garage for two years. Yesterday finally got around to getting her running, needs an oil change bad. Put 'er in the water with no problems, ran like a champ on old gas but the two bilge pumps had all they could do to keep up
Even with all the accumulated dust and dirt still on the ol' girl she gets lots of lookers at the ramp.

keep that old girl swellin!! get on that oil change and go go go!!
I used to have a tradition with my 59 Owens. Each year I launched her I would pack a cooler with my favorite beverages, a cool sub sandwich and some snak's and camp out for the night. I would always have a few visitors come by and pat me on the back for my hard work. I miss it dearly.

Jim, gorgeous boat! Something about those Owens are so comfy. My father-in-law's brother used to have one back in the early 60's, he used to take my wife and I out on lake Michigan for some Sunday cruzin'.
Bob, Git-er-done. Weather don't get much better.
The Century will be sitting again for a few weeks while we RV east and Canada but I just had to - you know - just had to...
