TOPIC: striping varnish or paint

well back in the 1960s we used a blow torch but YOU HALF TO BE VERY VERY CAREFUL NOT TO BURN THE WOOD OR STAET A FIRE then after you get most of the varnish off use remover and a brass wire brush and go with the graine of the wood dont use aputty knife use a bondo plastic scraper and it wont mess upthe wood with scraper markes if you can stand the smsll use remover as much as posable
