Just finishing up a major cosmetic restoration. The decking on the bow had been "restored" with interior wall paneling (like from Home Depot) that was held on with gorilla glue. It took hours of chiseling to remove it. The owner didn't want to return the deck to the original white vinyl covering and opted to go with real mahogany/maple decking. Here's the before and after:





The transom was also a disaster so we took care of that too:

Yeah...I've never seen a sheet of wall paneling, held down with (very rusted) steel nails and gorilla glue, used for Chris Craft decking. Originally, we were supposed to sand to bare wood and refinish. It turned into a major job...and major outlay for the owner. Since he didn't want to go with the white vinyl fore deck, his options were limited.
