TOPIC: 1955/1956 Lone Star Road Master

I bought this trailer yesterday. No clue what it was until I located small painted-over ID tag (Lone Star) and date stamp (3-55). Looking at information from Glassics Library, I think it is a 1955 or 1956 Lone Star Road Master. I bought it because it's so unique (light duty, tandem axle, weird springs and other random features) with plans to customize for a 14' boat, but not that I think I know what I have, I'm apprehensive to mess with it because it is so original and complete.
