TOPIC: Slickcraft owners ?

Hi,
We are new to this site and looking for anyone who might have information about our Slickcraft 240 cuddy cabin we just bought.
Are there any Slickcraft owners here ?

Sorry, I don't get to this site very often. We bought an '87 SlickCraft 279SC last fall and I'm sorting it out to launch in the next couple weeks. We bought it as a non-running boat with electrical problems. I've got that sorted now, but it looks like the guys the P.O. hired to fix it did more harm than good! It's powered by a Merc 5.7 with Alpha 1 drive. I'm new to I/Os so it'll be a learning experience.
Anyway, I'm always looking for info and experiences with the boat. The closest I've found is an old magazine review and brochure from 1987. I can check to see if it mentions the 240 as well.
