Would like a GLASTRON GT (150 or 160)
Ran across a 2 chrysler boats locally ..one looks like a little speed boat the other is HydroVee...

I'm really like the GTs but the these Chyrslers have my eye too?

What do you do?

:S

Glastron Carlsons are the performance side of Glastron designed by the legendary designer Art Carlson . Go Glastron / Carlson .
here is a side by side of a Glastron GT160 and a Glastron Carlson CV21 . you can find a real nice CVX16 for a good price , there are many on Craigs list and Ebay . keep in mind they are old boats and may need a lot of work but they are well built and are way cool to run . Gil

Can't go wrong with either one depending on the deal and condition! The Glastrons are great looking but the Chryslers a little more rare and have Chrysler motors on them to complete the package????

I really like my '78 Conqueror, I'm having a hard time parting with it after getting it all fixed up. I got a 84' Baja now too that is awesome and I don't want to try and keep both! What a dilemna!!!!!

i agree , both are cool boats , i know of two conquerors in my area , one is complete with the blue tinted windshield and a 105 on the back and the other is a mess sitting in a oil company parking lot , that one is the red accented one with no motor .

the one thing i can say, if your going to get one for a project whether its a Glastron or a Chrysler be sure all the trim is there and the windshield is intact . i know finding parts for my GT160 was extremely difficult , im still looking for intact front bucket seats for mine (two years now) , i can only imagine how hard finding Chrysler parts must be .

heres the link to my CV21 project

i located a 150 with seats in tact....but bad transom....
i tried getting the guy to email pics biut instead got a nasty email stating wasn't going to fart around with pictures...was asking 250...guessing its gone...found another one called on it ...no seats, broken windsheild..and 1/2 @ss'd fiberglass job on the floors and transom....

might just have to squash the bug and try fixing up a couple of the mercs I have and sell those to help pay for a good condition GT...

The chrysler I seen I believe it to be a HyDro Vee....LOT oif work needs to be done..but from what I remembered all trim was there..

thanks...and don't worry about HI Jacking my thread I love ideas and your pictures keep it going...
