TOPIC: Unknown Boat - Uses Ford 351 OMC - Please Help

I am purchasing this boat and am looking for information. But first I need to know which one it is. The Hull ID is: GTX21060M78J. So for starters I know it was made by Glastex and the year is a 1978. But I do not know which model. Could anyone help me gather some info? Here are some photos to help.

The tri-hull made me think a Caribbean but that is not it. The length of the boat is 22'-23'.

Thank you for the greetings. Understandably, I have no idea what model boat this is as well. As I said above, it was manufactured in 1978 by Glastex Co. out of Illinois. But I have yet to find someone with knowledge of Glastex boats who can help me determine what the model is. I had a fellow boat enthusiast tell me it was a Caribbean but I found that to be false.

The boat is around 22'-23' in length with a 351 Ford Windsor motor by OMC. I believe it has the 800 drive as well. I plan on doing some work to it before next spring so I need to hone in on the model so I have a better idea of parts needed.

Glastex made the "Sea Star" line of boats after 1962 or so. I have a mid 1970s Sea Star by Glastex brochure someplace but cannot find it right now.

There is a bunch of stuff here in the Glassic Library - look under "Sea Star" and "Sea Sprite"

Thank you for the info. I looked over the Glassic Library yesterday and it doesn't seem that my boat fits either. I'll keep looking and let me know if you find out anything else. I really do appreciate it. I figured that someone here would know! I'm looking forward to doing a little work to it. The exterior is fine but I plan on replacing the carpet and some work in the cabin. I really like your boat. I would love to own something like that in the future.

Viewing a vintage trade-in guide, Sea Star shows a 1977 Islander T2295: 22' 4", 96" beam, 67" maximum depth, day cruiser, 3850 # net weight, 233 (Mercruiser)/235 (OMC) standard horsepower.
