TOPIC: Wiring a Tachometer on my 1988 Evinrude 110 VRO

Hello everyone I have another question.. This one a little more serious. I have some teleflex gauges I recently purchased. hooking up the gauges seems strait forward the amp gauge speedo trim and tilt and fuel were easy. The kicker is my SELOC book does not go into detail about a tach. The only thing it says "if hooked up wrong could cause serious damage to ignition system." does anyone know the proper pole and wire to hook it up?
