TOPIC: New Search System

Maybe it's just me, but it appears that the search function doesn't seems as robust as the old one. I was trying to ID a boat that could be a Pacific Mariner, A Su-preme Spitfire, or a Fleetform model as they all look similar. The library pics were not detailed enough to ID exactly who the manufacturer was so I tried to do a search for each of the manufacturers to see what pics might show up in in the forums. Nothing tuned up in a search of all three names.
To check, I tried to search for Herters and only one entry in a forum showed up. I know I have seen many, many, posts about Herters boats.
It's very possible that I am not using the new search system correctly.
Any advice on what I may be doing wrong?

Not sure but I searched for Herters and Pacific Mariner got many posts. Make sure you have the date range set to all posts maybe, not just the last year which is the default.

I don't see a date choice in the search engine page like the old one had. I think I am not using the full search engine.
I have been clicking in the Quick Search on the lower right of the page. This what I got. I am not seeing a way to specify the date range. Is there another way to enter the search function? Thanks .
