Al - All, While that appears to be one heck of a deal, the "no title" problem is (could be) a big issue. Virginia IS a title state when it comes to boats, and Georgia will NOT transfer one out the there without a proper title signed over by the last registered owner! (Ask me how I know this, he hee!) Other states may be different, or you may be able to go the "Wisconsin route".

That being said, it looks to be a decent project boat for somebody! It's gotta be a CVZ, (bowrider), the CVX series were all closed bow. Wish I had another project left in me (physically), I'd consider giving that one a shot!

Mark-I have always liked the Carlson but I too, have very little project time left in me as well. The DNR in NC works well with VA on finding and transferring titles I have done 2 from NC. But you are right it is getting harder all the time.
