The thru hub is correct on this series of motor. It is one of the Automatic transmission models that allowed the shifter to be incorporated into the twist grip. The mechanism was a series of springs and clutches located in the tower and if you didn't take it apart just right they erupted in dramatic fashion all over the shop. Not too many people want this model and quite frankly I would want him to pay me $60.00 to take it away!
