TOPIC: 1961 40 elgin

Hi all I have a 40 hp Elgin 1961, need a impeller. Model number 574-60500. The part number is 136-5100. I heard someone makes them ,Any ideas?

This guy makes impellers for old/oddball outboards and may be able to help you out:

Typically you'll send him your old impeller, then he'll strip the dead rubber off the brass center and mold new rubber around the center.

Give him a holler, and if you have a pic of the impeller to send, that would probably help.
