Gonna fix it with some JB Weld, but sure would like some specific suggestions for a transom saver that does not eat up the leading edge of my motor. Thanks! Hi,

The Springfield is good quality.
The Swivl-Eze is hard to beat.

The pads are a hard plastic, so I use a small rolled up towel to pad it a little more. Been using it for 5 years and hasn't left a mark on my '63 Merc 850.
