TOPIC: Tach for 1960 Merc 400

Happy new year all. I was given a very nice set of nos Airguide Instruments for my runabout restoration project this past Christmas. The tach is an Airguide #1023 and requires a CDI signal to operate. However, the engine I intend to use is a 1960 Merc 400 which is not a CDI ignition but the older magneto ignition system. Is it possible to use a converter system in order to use the very nice 1023 ? Thanks in advance for any help here. Marcus.
