TOPIC: ISO Airguide tach or part #

can't seem to find any part# listing for my application
1963 Merc 65hp 4 cylinder non CDI
any help on the part# model# or if anyone has one willing to part with it ??
the library has nothing I can find BTW

Those are both cool. Didn't know Sears made one. If anyone can find a full compatibility chart for Airguide Tach's, I have been looking. I find many applications, but never mine. I also never know about those modules I see with some tachs but not others. I have old distributor and cool 6 cylinder '65. I do have a decent airguide 666, but not sure what it goes to and no separate module. This is foreign stuff to me. Hope one of those others work for you.

this sears tach was made by airguide for sears.
666 is used on 4and 6 cyl mercury with CD ignition.

Thanks. Would that start with the 1966/1967 Mercurys? ...since my 1965 has coils distributor and points...still not sure what tach and components I need. Maybe one day I should just find someone with the same motor and ask what model tach they have. Mine came without and I have never had a rig without...how can you prop it or keep it safe without a tach other than go slow to be safe...and who really wants that lol.

any automotive tach will work . 6 cyl auto. hooked to 1 coil
