Is this normal for a Merc until it warms up? or should water come out the tell-tale all the time? I've only dealt with 60's Rudes... Thanks IA... Sound come out within a couple\few seconds of starting...

Id start by replacing the impeller...also, feed a small piece of flexible wire up into the tell-tale hole...sometimes they can become clogged with dirt or other debris when they sit for a long time.
