since when? I had an 4cyl 850.

Shore 'nuff did, from around '73 to '77 or so, as I recollect! This one looks to be a mish-mash of parts, later-model lower unit on a distributor motor, non-matching cowlings, but likely to have some good parts on 'er still. That L/U is a dandy if it's still working.

that's not a super deal. I recently bought a late 60's 65hp for $25 with controls and a spare starter

I just traded for a 1975 850 4 cylinder 85 hp. Will be getting it up and running this summer ( with Dave's help )
