I have an early Merc 1000 that ran well but not sure about rpm's. I have a tach but it isn't hooked and I can't find a wiring diagram to hook it up? Thinking about purchasing a vintage Airguide, currently have a vintage one in the photo that i want to try and use.

Also any advice on smoothing out idle, seems to stall and kill when idling.

IF all the seals are good. the tach is just a auto tach hookup. coil and ground. all tack are not alike. make sure yours is the correct one. Check this box to be notified of replies to this topic.
