TOPIC: Bilge pump question

Eventually the time will come when I will replace the inside deck on my Dorsett. This is a sealed up area and I was wondering about installing some kind of bilge pump. There is a drain hole on the outside which you use once the boat is out of the water but is there any reason to install some kind of pump?
