TOPIC: my 9.8 kicker merc.

Have it mouned but not sealed yet. Wanted to be sure of position before I put on the 5200.

The mount instructions said to mount it in such a way as not to interfere with the main motor.they don't touch when they are at their closest.

But does it look to close to starboard?

What we do down here is run the kicker straight and use the main motor to steer with. Unless we are in skinny water (chasing reds) and then we kick up the main motor and steer with the kicker

Where do you attach a safety cable to the boat? I've been searching the internet but have not found where to connect it.
