TOPIC: Vintage hydraulic steering??

The hydraulic steering in these pictures has an Attwood wheel which looks like mid 1950s.

The helm is cast aluminum with a cast in number “7720-17”
Does anyone know who made this hydraulic steering system and maybe what years?
