you all tell me when i am doing to much but i think of these things and some of them work and some don't the concept was right but the design wasn't, too much fabricating .. simple straight console is the final design..

I always lay out gauges so that I have an unobstructed view of the tach, oil pressure and temperature. I don't like to have to peek around/through steering wheel spokes to keep an eye on things. Going by your mock-up, I'd flip-flop things: gauges to starboard, the square thing to port...just a suggestion.
