Does anyone have any information about this boat? We're getting it looked at soon to see whether or not we should do some work on it. I'm new to all of this. Sea King boats were sold by Montgomery Wards but made by a variety of manufacturers under contract. Very affordable option for someone looking to buy a boat in the '50s. It is notoriously hard to identify a Sea King; because of their national distribution and high shipping costs, they contracted with local manufacturers to provide boats within a certain region. Thus different Sea King models for California and the Mid-West. Unfortunately we do not have enough old advertisements or catalog pages to help identify the range of boats they offered:
