TOPIC: ok more progress

ok more progress 12 years 9 months ago #81351

ok i got the bottom of the floor resin-ed and i had the front of the boat under a little raised area i didnt know what was under there. i wanted to make sure it was dry , so i thought for a minute and i was going to put a inspection port then i thought well what about a hatch. so i got a 13x23 latching hatch and in the pictures you can see the stringers go under the cover and into the compartment. i wanted to seal that up. i got a couple of pieces of cloth and resin-ed them in to seal the area up and keep that separate from the floor area. let that try let my floor dry. cut my Styrofoam and next time you see it i hope to have the floor in.
i need to get another tube of 5200 and a pump for my resin i bought 3 gallons and i cant pour it easy. i found a chart to convert oz.s to mil. so i wont have to much catalyst in my resin. .

Great progress and good idea with the hatch, it looks good there.
