I pulled this off a junker. I'm thinking that the tube is some sort of air pressure regulator? Any ideas?? thanks,jim

I have one almost just like it that came on our 1960 Seafair Sedan when we bought it. It also had an old "Airguide" Speedometer.

Thanks John, I think it's brass. I going to clean and polish it up and try it out and see if it makes a difference. jim

It cleaned up pretty good. Got a couple small dents.If I use it,I can turn those to the hull.It's called the art of deception LOL.
