TOPIC: Back after 2 years, restoring my Nordic Scandia 18

Hello all.

Divorced 1.6 years now, and I have a truck now to pull my boat and the boat is in the parking garage of my apartment complex.

I finally found out that my mystery boat is a Nordic Scandia 18' which came in three versions, jetboat, inboard, and outboard.

My boat is an outboard. Mercury 1500 2-stroke (tower of power) from the late seventies. After a year or two of idling, I have the funds and the time to resume work on the boat.

The motor is going to need an overhaul, I bet, and the trailer will need new tires, bearings and carpet pads. I had a nice winch welded onto it, and replaced all the trailer lights with LED lights.

I am going to install Nav Lights on it and I also need to repair the gas gauge sensors on the two inboard tanks. I have some repair work to do on the vinyl seats too. Will post more now that I re-found this place.

Looks like a nice boat. I've had my LED's now a year and I love them.
