Thank you everyone its been really fun restoring this boat. The windshield was mainly dirty from sitting inside. I used high end car wax and manually polished it out.

The VertGlass is a wipe on product. I really wanted to re-gelcoat the boat but without knowing how attached or how far I was going to take the boat I wanted to save as much money and spend it where it was most needed. The VertGlass is the same stuff as poliglow ?? not sure if thats the correct name but it puts a nice clear coat back in your gelcoat however it is not permanent and may require to reapply it 5 or so years down the road. Considering this will be stored indoors and its not like I'll be on the lake everyday it should be just fine.

I paid $150.00 for the boat however with all expenses I am at $1100.00 right now.

Not too bad considering how it came out. Plus the compression on the engine was right at 150 psi on all cylinders.
