I got one for my 1964 650 from Master Tech Marine. Here's the link: www.maxrules.com/

You might also check with Joe Poole at Ferguson-Poole Marine.

When I put the new grommet in, the choke was very hard to work due to friction. I removed the choke knob and cleaned/polished the shaft with an SOS pad and plenty of water. Works like it should now.

I've had luck with sheetmetal panel rubber grommets used where wiring might go through and the grommet is used to keep the wire from chaffing on the metal edge. McMaster Carr has many of these made for thicker panels and different diameters that would work on your cowl, they look nearly identical to originals.

I went to Home Depot and bought a half dozen different sizes. It turned out that the 9/32 was perfect. The knob slides great and fits the hole just perfect.
